She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Peterson and Edith Martin Peterson; her son Gary Vail; and her siblings, Dale Peterson, Blanche Baker and Maxine Seider.

She is survived by: her children, Janice Jackson (Jack), Joy Davis (Neil) and Ron Vail; and her grandchildren, Shawn Jackson, Brooke Jackson, Theresa Hacker, Jenny Handley, Holly Dobb, Jeremy Davis (Michelle), Stephanie Chtata (Adil) and Tony Davis.
