She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward E. Greene and Emma A. Koeppel Greene; her husband Norman E. Hinners; her brother Dale E. "Pinkie" Greene; her grandson Riley Pitstick; and her son-in-law Jim Phillips.

She is survived by : her daughters, Susan E. Pitstick (Bart) of Connersville, Jane E. Smith of Indianapolis, Lori K. Sams (David) of Laurel and Diana L. Phillips of Connersville. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
