With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Lawrence Kanouse of Connersville, Indiana, born in Shelbyville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 27, 2025 at the age of 62. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Lawrence Kanouse and Beverly Ann Wilmore. He is survived by: his sister Tammy Rene Roberts; his half-brothers, Bradley Wilmore and Charles Wilmore Jr.; his stepparents, Charles Wilmore Sr. and Margaret Kanouse; and his stepsiblings, Vaughn Shafer, Shawn Shafer, Dawn AmRhein and Devonna Wright. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
