He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Max "Bud" Drake and Helen Austin (Robinson); his son Sean Drake; and his siblings, Marlene Merkamp, Carroll Max "Joe" Drake Jr. and Danny Drake.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Drake and Christopher Drake; his sisters, Alvona Miller (Buddy) and Debbie Strahl (Don); and his nephew Roy (Marla Fugate). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
