It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Butts of Connersville, Indiana, who passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Butts and Mildred Butts (Cox); his wife Carolyn Ann Hawkins; his son-in-law Terry McDaniel; and his siblings, Raymond, Richard, Ronald "Jody" Butts, Robert L. "Bobby" Butts and Pauline "Polly" Gossett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Stout (Charlie) of Arlington, Barbara McDaniel of Connersville and Millie "Julie" Siler (Mo) of Virginia; his grandchildren, Eric Stout (Marybeth), Travis Spence (Becca) and Lee Ann Bow (Gary); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Christian, Andrew, Dustyn, Jaykeb Stout, Jada Jackson (Kaitlyn), Lily, Raeleigh, Madison Bow, Charlie May, Ellie, Everley Spence and Delilah Shoemaker; and his great great grandchildren, Harmony Collins, Matthew, Kailey, Grayson and Zelda Stout.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Moster Mortuary (334 N Main St, Rushville, IN 46173). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
