It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Michael Mitchem of Connersville, Indiana, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Gracie Irene Merida, Joshua Stephen Bates (Ashley), Joseph Andrew Merida (Andrea), Bob Kemp (Jessica) and J. C. Kemp; his sister Renee Beach (Billy); his parents, Roy Mitchem and Vivian Mitchem; his parents-in-law, Gale and Brenda Miers; and his siblings-in-law, Tommy Miers (Dana) and Irene Foster (Preston). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Robbins Funeral Home (1704 N Grand Ave, Connersville, IN 47331). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
