With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah J. Turney (Connersville, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Sarah leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Sarah may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dalton and Dessa Steele Dalton Nester. She is survived by: her children, Lori Bever, Mark Turney (Lynn) and Larry David Turney (Joy); her siblings, Steve Dalton, Linda Weinheimer and Cathy Brummett (Rick); her grandchildren, James Bever (Charity), Veronica Bever-Woehrmann (Steven), Kaylah Turney and Dalton Turney; and her close friend Ginger Dearth. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
