He was predeceased by : his parents, Zeral Collins and Ruth Carpenter Collins; his wife Wilma L. Collins; his sister Shirley Keith; his brothers-in-law, Simon York and Wayne Keith; and his nephew Kelvin York.
He is survived by : his children, Randall Collins (Leslee) of Hixson, Scott Collins (Ashley) of Anderson and Shawna Sutherland of Tabor City; his grandchildren, Caroline Young (Joshua) of Soddy Daisy, Graham Collins, Victoria Phelps (Devin) of Connersville, Alex Collins (Chelsea) of Indianapolis, Juliette Collins (Garrett Silcott) of Connersville, Matthew Sutherland of Tabor City and Lindsay Moreno (Colin) of Beaufort; and his sisters, Betty Joyce York of Hamilton and Carol King (Jimmie) of Connersville. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
