He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Moran and Josephine Moran (Suttles); his wife Phyllis Jean (Moistner); his children, Bonnie Jo (Friant), Dennis Patrick Moran and Cynthia Jean Hobbs (Kirk); and his grandparents, William and Ethel Suttles.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Rachel Shelton (Brian), Emily Freshour (Brad), Kristopher Hobbs, Nicholas Moran (Stephanie), Kenton Hobbs (Wendi) and Allison Cummings (Nick). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Gabriel Catholic Church in William's honor.
