He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smoot; his children, Kathryn Wolf, Cindy Dillingham (Boyce), Clark Smoot (Cheri), Randy Smoot (Terri) and Joseph Smoot; and his brother Robert Smoot. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
