He was predeceased by: his mother Nieves Saralu; and his siblings, Francisco Buekis, Joseph Buekis and Dolores Tomokane Borja (Lola). He is survived by: his wife Teltista K. Saralu of Corunna, IN; his children, Tania Falig of Corunna, IN, Geraldine Williams of Garrett, IN, Antonia Saralu of Auburn, IN, Naomi Saralu of Garrett, IN, Teltista P. Saralu, Joaquin Anthony Saralu of Garrett, IN and Jacob Saralu of Auburn, IN.; his siblings, Jack S. Buekis, Saipan, Steve S. Buekis, Dolores S. Rasiang, Saipan and Teresita S. Bumbon; and his great grandchildren, Diding, John Willam Tamyra, Summer, Sasha, Dayna, Zachary of Liza, K. J, Essence, Mark, Mathew, Antonia Saralu, Didi, Christopher, Benzee, Faith, Kira, Ace and Vicente Jr.. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (300 W Houston St, Garrett, IN 46738).
