He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kurtz and Dorothy Kurtz (Crosson); his wife Peggy; and his brother Karl Kurtz. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Kurtz (Tina) of Oconomowoc and Kim Ginder (Dan) of Fort Wayne, IN.; his grandchildren, Brody Kurtz, Bryce Ginder, Ethan Kurtz, Kylee Kurtz and Brenna Ginder; and his pet Quincy.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gitche Gumee Bible Camp, 5189 Garden City Road, Eagle River, MI 49950.
