He was predeceased by : his father Leonard E. Crane; and his grandparents, Lula, Eli Crane, Clyde and Clara Evaline.

He is survived by : his mother Alma Frances Evaline Crane; his siblings, Chuck Basham, Leonard C. "Lenny" Crane, Cheryl Barton, Sheila Coffman and Anita Ferguson (Dale); and his nieces and nephews, Mitchell Coffman, Susan Crawford, Tracy Wheat and Nathan Waynescott.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home (201 N Oak St, Corydon, IN 47112). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
