It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Mercer of Corydon, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 98, on September 27, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond V. Schrader and Evelyn Schrader (Light); her husband Claude W. Mercer; and her sister Doris Holdread. She is survived by: her children, David Mercer of Tell City, Daniel Mercer (Kathy) of Ft. Wayne, Dennis Mercer (Joni) of Rapid City and Pam Nemeth of Corydon, Indiana; and her siblings, Raymond Schrader of Jones, Michigan and Ruth Mercer of Battle Creek, Michigan. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Assembly of God (500 Shiloh Rd SW, Corydon, IN 47112).
