With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Mae Amy of Corydon, Indiana, who passed away on March 15, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rush Curts and Lenora Kintner Curts; and her siblings, Earl, Carl, Alice, Stella, Olive, Betty, Flossie, Sherry and Lenetta.
She is survived by: her husband Vernie R. Amy; her children, Michael J. Amy (Amyjo) and Amanda R. Ettner (Lucas); her grandchildren, Jennifer Franks (Justin), Hayden Ettner, Avril Ettner, Gracelyn Amy, Devon Fuchs (Haven) and Shelby Irelan; and her siblings, Lafe Curts (Rosie), Joyce Wiseman (Dennis), Benita McDonald (Terry) and Lisa Austin (Jimmy).
