He was predeceased by : his parents, Lewis Ealy and Troy Smallwood Ealy; his son Jeffery Bart Ealy; his grandchildren, Paul Curtis Ealy and Carrie Jo White; and his siblings, Elmo, Ramon, Della, Leo of Kenneth, OB, Ronnie and Morris.

He is survived by : his children, Danny Ealy (Teresa) of Indianapolis, David Ealy (Robin) of Corydon, Della Draganchuk of New Albany and Donna Ealy of Corydon; and his grandchildren, Douglas Wayne Crawford, Bryon David Crawford, Matthew Levi Crawford, Joshua Ealy, Katie Ealy, Jaramie Ealy, Sylvia Leona, Evanne Estel, Mary Anne, Danielle Madella, Olivia Christonnie, Mala Marie and Lusha Georqetta-Cherelle. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home (27 Old Hwy 421, Manchester, KY 40962). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
