He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lucas and Marie Lucas; his children, Greg Lucas and Tammy Vanlaningham; and his stepson Bobby Lucas.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Dwayne Lucas, Mike Lucas (Genny), Kathy Bowling (Gary) and Morgan Lucas (Katie); and his sisters, Carol Cummins (Larry), Connie Jo Schooler and Brenda Harris. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
