James Stiner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2025, at the age of 92, James Stiner of Corydon, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, let us honor James' memory by embracing the beauty of each fleeting moment, knowing that his spirit resides in the eternal tapestry of existence, forever woven into the fabric of our hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Stiner and Edith Kannapel Stiner; and his siblings, George Stiner, John Stiner, Francis Stiner and Catherine Stiner.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Waynescott of New Middletown; and his niece Crystal Bickel. He is also survived by his caregiver, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A rosary will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home (318 E Chestnut St, Corydon, IN 47112).
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Most Precious Blood Cemetery.
