She was predeceased by: her parents, Estill Sidney "Sam" Green and Beatrice Marian Huff Green; her husband Alvin Elmer Shaffer; her sons, David Shaffer and Philip Shaffer; her grandchildren, Nathan Shaffer and Ashley Miller; and her brother Jack Green.

She is survived by: her children, Darryl Shaffer (Elaine), Stephen Shaffer (Ann-Marie), Sandra Vogt (Randy), Laura Miller (Lynn) and Sarah Fulks (Chris). She is also survived by 28 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
