We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025, at the age of 87, Larry Baumgartle of Corydon, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Baumgartle and Inez Baumgartle; his daughter Twyla Baumgartle; his son-in-law Philip Henry; and his siblings, Ken Baumgartle and Wanda Hamilton (Robert).
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Talara Henry and Timothy Baumgartle (Kathy); his grandchildren, Ben Henry (Rachelle), Ryan Henry (Lauren), Abby Lauer (Ryan), Morgan Newton (Adam) and Evan Henry (Samantha); his great grandchildren, Weston, Callen, Connor, Graham, Emerie, Mason, Mia, Miller and Eli; his siblings, Gerald Baumgartle (Jeannine), Allen Baumgartle (Pam), Phyllis Schneider (Keith) and Norma Higdon; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Miller (Connie) and Lois Baumgartle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home (318 E Chestnut St, Corydon, IN 47112). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
