We bid farewell to Marshall E. Russel of Corydon, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 26, 2025 at the age of 80. Marshall touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Marshall shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marshall farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall E. Russel and Martha Alice Williar Russel. He is survived by: his wife Marianne Russel of Laconia; his daughters, Leslie Sepanek of Louisville, KY and Lisa Baker of Georgetown, KY; and his siblings, Jane Messerich, Steve, Gene and Donald Russel. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home (318 E Chestnut St, Corydon, IN 47112). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
