We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2023, at the age of 87, Phyllis K. Chitwood of Corydon, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Alva Heishman and Martha Jane Boley Heishman; and her daughter Jolonda Kaye Thomas. She is survived by : her husband John Ewell Chitwood, Jr.; her children, Casey Ray Boss (Jane) of Sierra Vista, Arizona and Janet Sue Luther (David Wayne Bolen) of Corydon; her stepchildren, Noah Ewell Chitwood (Lori) of Louisville, Kentucky and Lori Rule Chitwood of Louisville; and her grandchildren, Timothy Boss, Logan Boss, Allison Page, Abbie Jones, Misty Boone, Kaye Boone and Nikki Boone. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and 4 step grandchildren.
