He was predeceased by: his parents, Lambert Elbert and Vivian Jean Hurst Elbert; and his nephew Michael A. Elbert. He is survived by: his wife Loni Elbert; his children, Todd Elbert (Samantha) and Tia Elbert Schlangen; his stepchildren, Lesley Woodall (Becky) and James Woodall (Melinda); his grandchildren, Alexis, Peyton, Alissa, Aaron Jr. and Nicholas; and his siblings, Connie LaHue (Don), Jim Elbert, Steve Elbert (Rhonda), Richard Elbert (Rena), John Elbert (Kathy), Mary Ann Wells (Rusty) and Cathy McCarty (Roy).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Gehlbach & Royce Funeral Home (318 E Chestnut St, Corydon, IN 47112). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
