She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, P. G. Hampton and Gene Hampton; her husband Terry; her children, Travis (Dawnelle), Tyler (Shawna) and Tiffany (Jeremy Treat); her grandchildren, Joel, Ethan, Maddie, Kayelee, Kya, Chloe, Celina, Ashlyn, Lauryn, Evelyn and Katelyn; and her brothers, Sonny and Kenny Hampton.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to Fellowship of Christian Athletes or Athletes in Action.
