She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Purple and Cathryn Witsman Purple; her siblings, Wilmer, William, Harlan, Frances, Betty and Shirley; her husband Paul Leroy Bailey; and her son Bob of Veedersburg.

She is survived by: her sons, Don Bailey (Sherry) of Veedersburg and Ron (Tammy) of Bloomingdale; her grandchildren, Chris Bailey (Angie), Greg Bailey (Kathy), Chase Bailey (Alyssa) and Johona Bailey of Bloomington; her great grandchildren, Ian Bailey, Colin Bailey (Krista), Callen Bailey of Bloomington and Andilyn Bailey of Bloomington; and her great great grandchildren, Pryce, Amylah, Ivoree and Lennon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was a tough old bird, surviving and not even being hospitalized, when she contracted Covid along with pneumonia.
