We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2024, at the age of 86, MaryLou Carpenter of Covington, Indiana, born in Sciota, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Isom and Pearl Isom; and her spouse Alva Carpenter. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Steve Carpenter (Tracy) of Crawfordsville, Debbie Butler (Cole) of Claremore, Darrell Carpenter (Ura) of Covington and Larry Carpenter (Tammy) of Crawfordsville; and her sisters-in-law, Terry Barnes (Matthew), Patsy Gallant (Tom), Pam Mayes (Jeff), Julia Isom and Dianna Lutes (John). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

In luie of flowers, memorials may be made to Stringtown Church of God.
