He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Goodwin and Alice Goodwin. He is survived by : his wife Effie Goodwin of Covington; his sons, Dusty Goodwin (Elisha) of Attica and Rusty Goodwin (Bethany) of Terre Haute; his grandchildren, Reed, Adyson of Attica, Ryne, Avery and Maddyn of Terre Haute; and his brother Wayne Goodwin (Peggy) of Wilmore, KY..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Attica High School Athletics department, 211 E Sycamore, Attica IN 47918.
