He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorthy Taylor and Charles F. Taylor. He is survived by: his children, Charles Francis Taylor III, Susan Hodge (Randy), Gretchen Voege Taylor-Santiago (Kevin), Joshua Taylor (Donna), Andrew Taylor (Spencer) and Mary Taylor; his sisters, Jean Fiorella (Ronnie) and Pam Simon (Allen); and his grandchildren, Joshua Michael Emmert, Skye Sinchak, Andrea Catherine Sinchak and Oliver Frey Santiago.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home (107 N Grant Ave, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that we honor Charles' love for his bus driving job at North Montgomery Schools and make a donation to the school to aid in paying for school lunches for students in need.
