Connie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Connie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shelley and Marjorie Shelley (Strong); her son Jamie Martin; and her siblings, Ed Shelley, Rosalie Toney and Viola Shelley.
She is survived by: her children, Dodie Leslie of Crawfordsville and Heather VanCleave (Jason) of Crawfordsville. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home (107 N Grant Ave, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
