He was predeceased by: his parents, Cameron V. Burns and Marjorie A. Edwards Burns; and his son Daniel Heath Burns. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Burns of Crawfordsville; his daughter Tiffany Rogde (Terry) of Oregon; his brothers, Tom Burns (Jane) of Florida and Jack Burns (Paula) of Florida; his grandchildren, Mitchel Reeves and Josie Brooks (Dane); and his great grandchild Heath Lawrence Brooks.
