He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Flohr and Jean Otterholm; his wife Elizabeth "Beth" Calhan of Bernard's Catholic Church; his daughter Emma; his brother Douglas of Pasadena, California; and his pet Duncan. He was also cherished by six nephews; three nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stronger Together Against ALS Foundation (STAALS), ALS United Indiana, or Detroit Alley Cats pet rescue in Detroit, Michigan.
