He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne William and Mary Ann Rose (Young); and his sister Carolyn Ann Taetsch of Brownsburg. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Rose of Crawfordsville; his children, Stuart W. Rose (Jennifer) of Cheney, Kansas and Allisen A. Bateman (Elvin "J. R.") of Thorntown; his granddaughter KarLee Ann Bateman of Thorntown; and his sisters, Mary Pauline Kinkead (Larry) of New Ross and Janet Mae Williams of Crawfordsville.

Memorial contributions may be made in Harold's memory to Dover Christian Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
