He was predeceased by: his parents, John Seward and Marjorie Seward (Berry); his wife Barbara Williams; and his brothers, Robert and Allen Seward.
He is survived by: his children, Tonia Wheeler (Rick) of Crawfordsville, Vince Seward (Dawn) of Flora, Travis Seward (Wade Cleveland) of Greenville, SC and Jason Seward (Maria) of Crawfordsville; his grandchildren, Craig, Evan (Allison), Ross Wheeler (Sofia), Brett (Abby), Owen, Jenna, Isla, Alea, Ella, Aria Seward and Ben Swing; his great grandchildren, Remy Wheeler, Frances Seward and Elliott William Seward; and his sister Wilma "Joan" Gallo.
