She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobart Surber and Helen Weliver Surber; her spouse Noral Whitlow; her daughter Linda; and her siblings, Violet Hocking, Robert Surber of James, Nancy Quinn Teague and Goldie Surber.

She is survived by: her children, Patrica Caldwell (Lee), Terry Whitlow (Connie) and Larry Whitlow (Michelle); and her siblings, David "Sonny" Surber, Sue Sheets and Mike Surber. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
