He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Krout and Ruth Krout (Parkinson); his son Craig S. Krout; and his siblings, Terry Krout, James VanDorn and Bonnie Bond.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Krout; his sons, Brett David Krout and Joshua Benjamin Krout; and his brother David VanDorn.
He was born August 24, 1940, in Prairie Du Rocher, Illinois, the son of the late Gerald and Ruth (Parkinson) Krout.
