He was predeceased by: his parents, Tilford Strong and Effie Strong (Johnson). He is survived by: his children, Cynthia A. Goad (Robert) of Oceanside, CA, Larry L. Strong, Jr. of Lafayette, Christina M. Beason (Scott) and Morgan of Lafayette. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
