We bid farewell to Margaret Ruth (Leaming) Stephenson of Crawfordsville, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 3, 2025 at the age of 77. Margaret touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry and Mary Viola Leaming (Kitts); and her husband William "Bill" Stephenson. She is survived by: her son James Stephenson; her grandson James William Stephenson Jr.; her daughter Amelia Stephenson; her stepsons, William Stephenson and John Stephenson; her brother James Leaming (Ruth); and her brother-in-law Alan Oliver. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sanders Funeral Care (315 S Washington St, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church (307 S Washington St, Crawfordsville, IN 47933).
While house plants are encouraged, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church.
