He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cain and Mildred Cain; his siblings, Jan Spurgeon and J. C. Cain; and his grandson Henry Carda.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Riley; his children, Michelle Dobson (Steve) of Rensselaer and Michael Brandon Cain (Jennifer) of Rensselaer, Indiana; his stepchildren, Desiree Carda (Trevor) of Crawfordsville, Derek Brooks of Wolcott and Dane Brooks (Josie) of Crawfordsville, Indiana.; his sister Marsha Gentry (Mike) of Remington, Indiana; his brother-in-law Charlie Spurgeon of Rensselaer, Indiana; his grandchildren, Braylon Gagnon (Shannon), Lexah Gagnon, Elise Dobson, Mickey Cain, Drew Cain, Dawson Cain, Charlotte Carda and Heath Brooks; and his great grandchildren, Isla, Wren and Chloe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Augustine Catholic School.
