He is survived by: his wife Kelly McMurtrey; his son Michael John McMurtrey; his stepchildren, Tyler, Dreyah, Kevin and Asher; his grandchildren, Brooklyn, Esmae and Josiah (Emeric); and his sister Jami Harrington (Travis). He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home (107 N Grant Ave, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
Donations can be made in his memory to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County.
