We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2025, at the age of 97, Naomi Mitchell of Crawfordsville, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Naomi Mitchell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Robison and Lottie Bayless Robison; her husband Fred J. Mitchell; her son Stephen; and her siblings, Gerald, Gordon, Charles Robison (Bill) and Margaret Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Harris (Monty), Rebecca Hester (Nate) and Paul David Mitchell (Diane); and her grandchildren, Ann Smith (David), Dr. Stephen Harris (Kambria) of Amherst, NH, Sharell Rivers, Jameson Rivers of Phoenix, AZ, Amber Holt (Josh), Kelly Price (Glen) and Paul Michael Mitchell. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sanders Funeral Care (315 S Washington St, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:45 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Berean Class, First Baptist Church, 1905 Lebanon Road, Crawfordsville, Indiana 47933.
