He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cope and Juanita Cope; his children, Cindy Rauch and Troy Cope; and his siblings, Donna Sheets, Bev Harpel, Dave and Larry Cope.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Kay Cope (Freeman); his children, Bobby Cope Jr. (Kertrena) and Lisa Cooksey (Terry); his children-in-law, Jim Rauch and Crystal Cope; his siblings, Joyce Love, Sherri Suiter, Tina Biddle, Jim, Jeff and Mark Cope; his grandchildren, Torey Rauch (Bethany), Kylee Rezabek (Chris), Trisha Yeoman (Ben), Tiffany Clark (Matt), Shelby Burger (Kyle), Drake Cooksey (Maddie) and Luke Cope (Lizzy); and his stepgranddaughters, Amanda and Heather. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Whitesville Christian Church (3603 S Ladoga Rd, Crawfordsville, IN 47933). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
