He was predeceased by: his wife Maxine Oswalt Wheeler; his son Steve (Janie); his granddaughter Chelsea; his parents, Robert Wheeler and Maude Wheeler; and his siblings, Tommy Wheeler, Francis Livengood, Jeanne Cornett, Bill Wheeler, Jim Wheeler and Sue Sutherlin.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly (BethAnne) of Crawfordsville, Janie (Steve) of Ladoga, Randy (Shelle) of Crawfordsville, Danny (Kimm) of Lake Holiday and David of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Nate (Jerami), Lacey (Matt), Chance (Leann), Alison (Nate), Hannah, Aaron (Lauren), Noah (Brooke) and Elijah (Morgan); his great grandchild Lola; his grandchildren, Zander, Grayson, Laken, Avella, Vaughn, Mia, Oliver and Collins; and his siblings, Darlene Brooks, Jane Starnes, Sandi Byers and Jack Wheeler.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Browns Valley Christian Church youth group.
