She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Hendricks and Marjorie Hendricks (Armantrout); her husband Harvey Eugene Martin; her son Jerry Dale VanCourt; her brother Bobby Dale Hendricks; her daughter Scherrie O'Connor; her children-in-law, Donita VanCourt, Don Hale and Gilbert Hendrickson; her grandson Gibby Hendrickson; and her great grandchild Jaydn Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Mitchell (Ron) of Frankfort, Donald Wayne VanCourt of Lafayette, Marda Hale (Don) of Frankfort and Brian VanCourt of St. Petersburg, FL; and her stepchildren, Linda Hendrickson of Frankfort, Jodee Babb (Harley) of Frankfort, Terri Dean (Rick) of Frankfort, Kim Ashlock of Michigantown and Sonny Martin (Angie) of Thorntown. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Goodwin Funeral Home (200 S Main St, Frankfort, IN 46041). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kirklin Assembly of God.
