She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Record; her son Scott Barker; her parents, Eleanor Miles Ferrand and Marion Ferrand; her siblings, Kaye Ferrand Steele and Keith Ferrand; and her stepgranddaughter Dana Record.

She is survived by: her son Steven Barker of Oregon; her brothers, Robert "Carl" Ferrand (Anita) of Greencastle and David Ferrand (Janet) of Greencastle; her stepsons, David Record (Barbara) of Crawfordsville, Lawrence Record of Lafayette and Philip Record (Karen) of Crawfordsville; her stepgrandchildren, Adam Record (Rhonda), Tonya Record, Daniel Record, Johnathon Record (Kayla), Douglas Record (Anne), Aaron Record and Andrew Record (Jennifer); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Mitchell Record, Joel Record (Crystal), Jacob Record (Emily), Landon Record, Emma Record, Kyle Record, Wyatt Record, Mariah Solomon (Caleb) and Colin Record. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
