She was predeceased by: her parents, James Deskins and Fern Deskins (Estep); and her siblings, Jerry Deskins, Arnold Deskins and Sharlette McClanahan.
She is survived by: her husband Donald "Donnie" Myers; her brother Robert E. Deskins of Topeka; her aunts and uncles, Elma and Willie Gibson; and her cousins, Jen Gibson and Ron Gibson.
