With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rickie Gene Johnson of Cross Plains, Indiana, born in Milan, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2025 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanie Kennedy (Johnson) and Buck Johnson; and his sister-in-law Winona Bliton. He is survived by: his wife Margo; his brother Gary Johnson; his sister-in-law Diana Johnson; his children, Derek Johnson of Versailles, Kara Love (Jerry) of Moores Hill, Angela Linville (John) of Batesville, Bill Dobbs (Carrie) of Osgood, Kennita Dobbs Mains (Tony) of Greensburg and James Dobbs of Osgood; his grandchildren, Hunter Love, James Dobbs, Rodney Dobbs, Eric Dobbs, Maggie Dobbs, Bryan Dobbs, Abigail Dobbs, Christopher Mains, Mallory Mains, Alyssa Linville, Olivia Aaron Phebus and Cooper Phebus; and his sibling's children, Micah Johnson (Anna) and Jenna Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville.
