He was predeceased by: his parents, Merl Louis Fields and Catherine Fields (Pierce); and his sister-in-law Pam Fields. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Fields (Wade); his daughter Jill Nienaber (Jody Rudicel) of North Vernon, IN; his grandchildren, Kordell Nienaber (Dakota) and Zane Nienaber; his great grandchild Merrick Nienaber; and his siblings, Merl Louis Fields Jr., Jeff Fields (Ann), John Fields, Kathy Haskett (Donnie), Karen Mattox (Steve), Tina Fish (Charlie) and Nancy Ladd (Tony).
