It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aarika Nicole Gonzalez (Crown Point, Indiana), who passed away on November 20, 2022, at the age of 41, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Darrell Roberts Sr. and Rosalee Roberts; her children, Victoria Rose Gonzalez, Daniel Armando Gonzalez and Gavin Celso Gonzalez; her siblings, Darrell Roberts, Aaron Roberts, Rebekah Roberts-Fishel and Lauren Powers; and the father of her children Guillermo Gonzalez. She is also survived by two nephews, three nieces, as well as many good friends.

“I cant believe its been over 2 years since Aarika passed. I really miss her. We were work buddies at Crown Point VA Clinic from 2017-2019. She was so kewl and she didnt even know it. She ran the yoga classes for the clinic which she did for free. Miss and love you. Victoria and the boys- hold ur head up high bc ur mom is a trooper. RIP Aarika.”

“I sadly just found out today that Aarika has passed away. I sit here now with tears running down my face. Aarika was my second cousin. Her Mom and my Mom were first cousins. Aarika and I both grew up in Hobart yet we never met or knew of one another until we did an ancestry test. I remember asking my Mom who was this match and she said to me, "oh that is my cousin Rosalee's daughter I bet." I reached out to Aarika on fb and we instantly became fb friends/cousins.She touched my heart. :(”
