He is survived by: his wife Jean Ellen Bateman; his children, Steven Bateman (Andrea) and Susan Valentine (James); his grandchildren, Theodore, Adeline, Autumn, David and Sara; and his brother David Roger Bateman (Melinda). He is also survived by his kids and grandkids.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Alan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
