The memory of Carol Algozine of Crown Point, Indiana, who passed away on May 19, 2026 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph R. Algozine; her daughter Lisa Ann Tolle; her sibling Thomas Morz; and her parents, Thomas Mroz and Helen Mroz (Macniak).
She is survived by: her children, Lyn Lopez (Michael) and Joseph Algozine (Jayne); her grandchildren, Michael Lopez (Samantha), Morgan Algozine and Jenna Algozine; her great grandchild Sienna Lopez; her sister Constance Perz (late Louis); and her sisters-in-law, Sue Verta, Diane Gerenda (Michael) and Edith Algozine (late John).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baran Funeral Home (1235 119th St, Whiting, IN 46394). A prayer will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Adalbert Church (1340 121st St, Whiting, IN 46394).
